FIELD: study of processes of multi-phase filtration of liquids; processes of displacement of oil by water from nonuniform layer stratum accopmanied by determination of average current oil saturation by rate of water encroachment. SUBSTANCE: method of determination of average current oil saturation of nonuniform layer stratum by type of dependence of average oil saturation versus watering of product consists in calculating the modified functions relative to relative phase permeability of oil and water on basis of permeability, porosity, power, saturation and final oil saturation of each interlayer determined beforehand; calculation of modified functional of relative phase permeability is made by the results of mathematical modelling of filtration of nonuniform layer stratum taking into account experimental information on viscosity of water and oil and their relative phase permeabilities over entire range of change of permeability determined additionallly. EFFECT: enhanced reliability; effective check of oil field development. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
