FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: braider comprises ring with fibre reels to braid several fibre plies around mandrel mounted at holder displacing along ring axis. After braiding said fibres are cut to withdraw the mandrel. In compliance with this invention, core is fitted holder, behind the mandrel, to set the core to be connected with said mandrel. After feed of mandrel through said ring, fibres are tightened around said core with the help of loop passed over fibres. Prior to withdrawing the mandrel, fibres are cut between the latter and the core.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of braiding without repeated centring of fibres convergence zone.
