FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: clinical-laboratory, radiological and densitometric examinations are performed. The following values are determined: complains of joint pains, complains of extremity bone pains; alkaline phosphatase activity and blood serum calcium; radiological signs of the left elbow osteoarthrosis, a hyperostosis coefficient of the left middle radial shaft, a reference density of the distal right radial metaphysis and the proximal left shin metaphysis, radiological signs of the right knee osteoarthrosis, signs of the left knee osteoarthrosis; a mineral bone density by T criterion in the right radial bone and in the lumbar spine. That is followed by calculating prognostic coefficients F1 and F2 to be compared. If F1 is more than F2, an initial form of occupational fluorosis is diagnosed; if F1 is less than F2, the diagnosis is excluded.
EFFECT: method enables providing a higher diagnostic accuracy by using the complex of the most informative values detected by mathematical-statistical methods.
