FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to energy accumulating devices. A flywheel comprises a package of flywheels (1) in the form of disks of equal strength with rims, two cheeks (2) with journals (6) attached to them and intermediate rings (3) with a screw thread on an external cylindrical surface. The intermediate rings (3) are connected to the screw thread made on the internal cylindrical surface of the rims of adjacent disks and also the rims of the cheeks (2) and the rims of the extreme disks adjoining them. The rims have the width exceeding the disk thickness and are equipped by centring fitting surfaces (4) on their conjugated ends. The method to produce a sectional flywheel consists in screwing the intermediate ring with a thread on its external cylindrical surface onto the internal threaded surface of the rim of the first cheek. Further, the rim of the flywheel disk is screwed onto the firmly screwed intermediate ring up to the conjugation of the centring fitting surfaces and the limit stop of the adjoining ends of the rims being screwed. The rims of the disks of all flywheels and the second cheek are screwed in the same way. Thus formed combination of all rims is covered with a layer of hardening material and conditioned to solidification.
EFFECT: reliable joint of separate flywheels into one sectional flywheel and automatic balancing of the sectional flywheel at its production.
