FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: headphones are used to stimulate one ear only with a series of progressive summing of sub-threshold sound clicks. A number of clicks is reduced to a threshold. The stimulation is further repeated, and the final stimulus from the series is presented together with a threshold single click into the other ear with the last audio stimulus from the series transformed into a dichotic one. The sound image localisation in the subjective audio head field enables stating the morphological state of uncrossed audio paths and the condition of the audio localisation function of the person being tested.
EFFECT: method enables investigating the mechanism of audio localisation of an individual's sound localisation.
