FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: cognitive endogenous responses in frontal central brain are recorded. Two types of tonal clicks - significant and insignificant - are supplied. An intensity of the significant tonal clicks is less than that of the insignificant ones. That is combined with performing a motor-voice test with one hand clenched. A latency of third negative peak N3 ( L N 3 r h ), a latency of second negative peak N2 ( L N 2 r h ), latency of third positive peak P3 ( L P 3 r h ) are recorded in both hemispheres. The data are processed at an analysis period of not less than 750 ms, and the further analysis is performed. A latent index of endogenous wave P300 for left and right hemispheres ( I Р 300 r h ) is determined. If the values are I Р 300 l h > I Р 300 r h and A Р 300 l h > A Р 300 r h , the leading hemisphere is left; the values of I Р 3 r h > I Р 3 l h and A Р 300 r h > A Р 300 l h show the right leading hemisphere.

EFFECT: method enables providing higher diagnostic reliability that is ensured by getting the cognitive endogenous responses from projected motor-voice areas of the brain.
