SUBSTANCE: cognitive endogenous responses in frontal central brain are recorded. Two types of tonal clicks - significant and insignificant - are supplied. An intensity of the significant tonal clicks is less than that of the insignificant ones. That is combined with performing a motor-voice test with one hand clenched. A latency of third negative peak N3 ( $$L_{N3}^{rh}$$ ), a latency of second negative peak N2 ( $$L_{N2}^{rh}$$ ), latency of third positive peak P3 ( $$L_{P3}^{rh}$$ ) are recorded in both hemispheres. The data are processed at an analysis period of not less than 750 ms, and the further analysis is performed. A latent index of endogenous wave P300 for left and right hemispheres ( $$I_{Р300}^{rh}$$ ) is determined. If the values are $$I_{Р300}^{lh}>I_{Р300}^{rh}$$ and $$A_{Р300}^{lh}>A_{Р300}^{rh},$$ the leading hemisphere is left; the values of $$I_{Р3}^{rh}>I_{Р3}^{lh}$$ and $$A_{Р300}^{rh}>A_{Р300}^{lh}$$ show the right leading hemisphere.

EFFECT: method enables providing higher diagnostic reliability that is ensured by getting the cognitive endogenous responses from projected motor-voice areas of the brain.
