FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining nanomodified polymer materials includes condensation of monomer vapours. A monomer is preliminarily heated to the boiling temperature. After that, monomer vapours are supplied into a gas channel, creating in this way the first two-phase flow, which includes gas and monomer vapours. Then the first two-phase flow is supplied to a mixing chamber. Simultaneously nanoparticles cooled to a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius are supplied into the second gas channel, creating in this way the second two-phase flow, which is supplied to the mixing chamber simultaneously with the first two-phase flow. Condensation of styrene monomer vapours is obtained in the mixing chamber, a temperature of walls of which is not lower than the temperature of the monomer boiling. The process of mixing two two-phase flows is realised for not less than 0.1 s, and as a result a condensate of monomer particles on the surface of nanoparticles is obtained with further polymerisation to the solid state.

EFFECT: increased degree of control over the structure of the nanomodified polymer material due to the monomer condensation on the surface of nanoparticles.
