FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grease based on a hydrocarbon dispersion medium and polyurea, the hydrocarbon dispersion medium being polyalkylbenzene or a mixture thereof with petroleum oil, with the following ratio of components, wt %: polyurea 6-15; dispersion medium - the balance, wherein the dispersion medium has the following composition, wt %: polyalkylbenzene 5-100; petroleum oil 0-95. The present invention also relates to a method of producing the grease, which includes adding amines and isocyanates at temperature of 50-150°C to the dispersion medium, wherein the dispersion medium used is polyalkylbenzene or a mixture thereof with petroleum oil, obtained by adding polyalkylbenzene to petroleum oil.
EFFECT: improved antiwear and antifriction properties of the grease in the temperature range from minus 50 to plus 150°C, which enables to use the grease as a multi-purpose and low-temperature lubricant with a lasting effect.
