FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing polyurea grease. Disclosed is a method of producing a lubricant based on a petroleum base oil of the third group and a fatty amine. Method involves mixing a petroleum base oil of group 3, thickened with polyisobutylene with molecular weight of 10 kDa (PIB 10), and a fatty amine, which is an amine or a mixture of amines, obtained from aliphatic acids containing from 12 to 18 carbon atoms. Then a mixture of group 3 petroleum oil thickened with PIB 10 and polyisocyanate are added to said mixture, mixing is carried out at temperature of 80 °C. Reaction temperature is then increased to 100–120 °C and held at atmospheric pressure for 2 hours. Then it is cooled to 60 °C, after which the grease is placed on a baking sheet and spread in a thin layer. After 2–3 days, the lubricant is collected in a container and ground biochar is added to it as a filler in amount of 10–15 wt.%, after which the lubricant is homogenised several times.
EFFECT: invention provides reduction of friction of friction parts of mechanisms in which it is inexpedient or impossible to use forced circulation of oil; use of biochar in said lubricants significantly reduces the friction coefficient without involving expensive antifriction additives; use of polymer additive PIB 10 in petroleum oil significantly improves dispersion of biochar in lubricant composition; due to use of petroleum oil of group 3 as a dispersion medium, the lubricant has the potential for operation under conditions of not only high, but also low temperatures.
