FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises removal of used production tree from well head and installing the new production tree. Lower and upper master valves are removed from well head as well as spider of Christmas-tree with four string gates and two angular unions and buffer gate valve. Used pipe head is kept at well head to mount pre-dismantled Christmas-tree spider with two string gate valves. New adapter coil is mounted at the spider to suspend central production tubing therefrom to be lowered into inner space of the main production tubing. Thereafter new central smaller-diameter gate valve is mounted at the new adapter coil to support new smaller-size top spider with two new smaller-diameter top string gate valves. Then, new smaller-diameter buffer gate valve is arranged at new top spider.
EFFECT: accelerated re-equipment owing to application of pre-mounted Christmas-tree equipment.
