FIELD: testing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of control of brake systems of vehicles. When testing a rail vehicle, the sequence of cars of a rail vehicle is determined. The motion of the vehicle at a given time is determined. The completeness of the wagonage of the rail vehicle is determined by comparing the actual determined sequence with the sequence of the wagonage serving as a reference. The rail vehicle is modernised using a sensor.
EFFECT: improved test results.
