FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of compensator sleeves, particularly, to production of short rubber cord compensator inserts. Device for production of said short rubber cord compensator inserts for pipelines which comprises rigid mandrel, flanges, outer shell and welding diaphragm arranged above insert blank and mounted at outer shell. Note here that welding diaphragm ID in free state complies with OD of said short rubber cord insert. Rigid mandrel ensures invariable diameter and cleanliness of inner surface over the entire length of said insert.
EFFECT: invariable diameter and cleanliness of inner surface over the entire length of said insert.
