FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: application: for inspection of pipelines and process equipment. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that linear grids are used, which are permanent, ultrasonic, flexible, having a dry facility to ensure contact, making it possible to detect and/or measure corrosion losses of a wall, corrosion cracking under voltage and/or start of crack formation inside the pipeline. The device for ultrasonic testing of materials comprises a linear grid of ultrasonic sensors and a flexible dry facility of contact provision that lets sound through and surrounds at least a section of each of ultrasonic sensors.
EFFECT: provision of possibility to establish ultrasonic sensors, which may be installed and operate for a long time and/or permanently, corresponding to specific requirements of object control.
