FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment. A spinal immobilisation apparatus comprises a bracing for rigid fixation on an individual's body, and a separate head support. The head support is provided with a collar-free structure and designed for attaching to the bracing to enclose the individual's head. The head support is opened from the front and above and has side walls coupled with a rigid back wall by loops. A detachable connection enables adjusting the head support position when rigidly fixed to the bracing as related to the individual's shoulders and back. The bracing is configured so that to provide an easy access to the individual's chest.
EFFECT: bracing elasticity enables respiratory chest dilation.
