SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a neck relief device, and piece of headgear intended therefore. Neck relief device comprising a flexible connecting device, which extends along the spine between an upper fixing point above the cervical vertebrae of the spine and a lower fixing point below the cervical vertebrae of the spine. Said connecting device is at least partially elastic. Elasticity of the connecting device is adapted to allow the creation of a tensile force acting in parallel to the force of action of cervical muscles. Elasticity of the connecting device is adapted so, that created stretching force exceeds natural directed forward torque head providing activation of laryngeal muscles and occurrence of cervical muscles reciprocal inhibition.

EFFECT: due to this invention, can be proposed a tool for ergonomic assistance/training, which reduces the torque generated in the centre of gravity of the head, so that there is a relaxation of the cervical muscles.
