FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass melt batcher and to batcher plunger operation. Glass melt batcher comprises plunger to pump over glass melt at lifting or lowering towards reservoir outlet and/or to very outlet cross-section, fixed spindle, nut engaged therewith to run thereabout and nut drive motor. Note here that said nut is directly engaged with drive motor rotor while plunger is connected with drive motor casing.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of control.
