FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: sample of investigated material is struck with a freely falling indenter of ball-shape with available properties, and parameters of impact interaction of the system are recorded: time of strike and time between the first and second collisions of the indenter with the sample of the investigated material (bounce height), maximum value of force of impact interaction of the indenter and time corresponding to maximum value of impact interaction force. Further calculation is made with the help of a developed mechanical-rheological elastic-viscous-plastic mode, as a result of calculation such value of modulus of elasticity of the investigated sample is detected, in which dynamics of the process of impact interaction on the calculation model corresponds to the experimental data.
EFFECT: improved validity and expanded field of method application.
