SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile telephone communication. The method comprises steps of: receiving a text message sent from a first user device to a second user device via a communication network; detecting a text sequence in said text message; executing, in response to detection of said text sequence, a process which determines the location of the first user device and a process which generates a map with the indicated location; sending, via the communication network to the second user device, a message facilitating display of said map on said second device.
EFFECT: enabling a first user of a mobile device to activate a process of providing information on the location of the first user of the mobile device for a second user of the mobile device.
