SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for tissue cutting and suturing. A surgical instrument can comprise at least one electromagnet connected to a power supply or polarised selectively for generation of a magnetic field adequate for actuation of the second magnetic element, e.g. a permanent magnet and(or) an iron core fixed in a terminal clamp. The instrument can comprise a number of magnetic elements providing opening and (or) closing of the clamping element of the surgical instrument. According to at least one version, the surgical suturing instrument can comprise a number of magnetic elements providing advancing and (or) drawing up a pusher, cutting element and (or) guide staple rail inside the surgical instrument.

EFFECT: provided cutting and suturing of the tissue clamped in the terminal clamp of the surgical instrument.
