FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, in particular to a surgical instrument for acting on tissue. Surgical instrument for acting on tissue comprises at least one processor and operatively associated memory, at least one motor in communication with the processor and at least one actuation device. Processor is programmed: to receive from a first removable implement a first instrument control algorithm describing the operation of the surgical instrument in combination with the first removable implement, to receive from a second removable implement a second instrument control algorithm describing the operation of the surgical instrument in conjunction with the second removable implement, to adjust the first instrument control algorithm and the second instrument control algorithm, to receive an input control signal from the actuation device and to control the at least one motor to operate the surgical instrument in conjunction with the first removable implement with the second removable implement in accordance with the first instrument control algorithm and second instrument control algorithm considering the input control signal.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by the simultaneous use of the first and second removable implements that may affect each other during their operation.
