SUBSTANCE: test bench comprises blast vessel equipped with membrane fastener fitted at vessel end part closed by protective shield, parallel with pressure indicator with indicator motor ON switch. Blast chamber with ignition plug with ignition ON button is arranged opposite the said vessel end part. Vessel is equipped with unions for its purging. Combustible fluid feed union is plug thereat is secured at vessel wall above ignition plug terminals. Test working components include: Pressure indicator, ignition plug, combustible fluid feed union, blast vessel purge unions are selected so that their breaking point is at least twice as high as that of tested membrane. Blast pressure is recorded by mechanical pressure indicator. Required concentration of the mix of vapours with air is ensured by fluid batching by pipette via union to be stopped by plug.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of protection and reliability of membrane unit.
