METHOD OF GENERATING QUADRATURE AMPLITUDE SHIFT KEYING SIGNALS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC H04L7/00 H03C5/00

Abstract RU 2526760 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of generating quadrature amplitude shift keying signals is characterised by that it includes generating a sinusoidal signal, which is then used to generate initial voltage values of the in-phase and quadrature components which are keyed depending on the values of the first, second, third and fourth bits of the information bit stream, the phases of the in-phase and quadrature components are changed by 180° at values of the first and second information bits equal to one, respectively, after which the keyed in-phase and quadrature components are summed, wherein the entire incoming information bit stream is divided into blocks of four bits each, wherein the in-phase and quadrature components, depending on the values of each third and fourth information symbols in each of the blocks, is amplitude-keyed via reduction thereof three-fold or by one sixth of the initial value.

EFFECT: reduced peak factor value of the generated signal by reducing differences in amplitude values of signal constellation vectors, which improves noise-immunity.
