FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: latch assembly (100) is intended for main drive assembly (5) with roller changeover element in case (10) with main roller (30), support roller (40), carriage (50) and lever (20) of the carriage uncoupling/coupling, and first joint arranged between main roller (30) and first end of carriage (50). At least one guide rod (52) at second end of carriage (50) engages with guide slot (11). note here that load (F6) of traction link (6) of the main drive assembly (5) applied to main roller (30) is divided into primary force component (F40) applied to support roller (40) and secondary force component (F60) applied to second end of carriage (50). Uncoupling force is applied to guide rod (52) towards guide slot (11) by lever (20) of the carriage uncoupling/coupling.
EFFECT: higher reliability of latching, controlled and short response time and total time of operation.
