TRACER FOR CURRENT LOCALISATION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61B5/05 A61B18/08

Abstract RU 2527152 C2

FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Tracing of in-body analysis toll location is effected by appropriate tracer and consists in placing applicator in galvanic contact with patient body. Display tool with its conducting electrode in introduced in multiple areas of patient body. Display tool is traced at various position in every area with the help of location measuring system. Appropriate calibration currents between applicators and display tool conducting electrode are generated for every area at different positions. Processor is used to generate appropriate relationship for every area between said calibration currents and different positions. Analysis tool including conducting electrode is arranged in patient body. Appropriate calibration currents between applicators and display tool conducting electrode are generated to define position with allowance for appropriate relationships and current of analysis tool. In compliance with second version, appropriate currents between applicators and appropriate currents of analysis tool are generated and analysed. Note here that appropriate impedance between every applicator and body is defined with allowance for appropriate currents between electrodes and appropriate analysis tool currents. Analysis tool location is defined on the basis of definite impedances. In compliance with third version, analysis tool including its conducting electrode is connected for generation of current in patient body in response to application of excitation voltage to tool conducting electrode. Ablation applicator and surface applicators are to galvanic contact with the body to receive appropriate current at body surface from analysis tool conducting electrode. Tool location is defined by processor with allowance for appropriate currents at body surface along with compensation for deviation of appropriate currents at body surface by ablation applicator.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of tracing.
