FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to prosthetic repair and to mechanical damping devices aiming at manufacturing body parts, particularly lower extremities. According to the first version, a pneumatic damper for a knee module comprises a cylinder with upper and lower end caps, a piston rod forming a rod and sub-piston spaces in the cylinder, and a canal connecting the rod space to the sub-piston space through isolation and control valves. The upper cap projects into a core space of the cylinder and is provided with an elastic valve. The piston comprises a groove providing a connection of the piston and the cap projecting into the core space of the cylinder. The piston rod is hollow and connects the rod space of the cylinder with an ambient medium through a valve configured in the rod A bracket is provided at the end of the rod with a pump attachable thereto. According to the second version, the pneumatic damper comprises the cylinder with the upper and lower end caps, the piston rod forming the rod and sub-piston spaces in the cylinder, and the canal connecting the rod space to the sub-piston space through the isolation and control valves. The upper part of the piston is provided with the elastic valve. The upper cap comprises the insert with the groove providing the upper part of the piston penetrating therein. The piston rod is hollow and connects the rod space of the cylinder with the ambient medium through the valve The bracket is provided at the end of the rod with the pump attachable thereto. The knee module comprises an upper part of the joint, a lower part of the joint, a damping device and a hinge axis rotationally connecting the above parts of the joint and the damping device. As the damping device, the knee module comprises a pneumatic damper for the knee module according to any of the above versions.
EFFECT: inventions provide more stable characteristics of the devices with improved performance without any additional external equipment (pump) and for high adaptation to a walking pace.
