FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and may be used in vertical casting of ingots from aluminum and alloys thereof. The mould for vertical casting in production of aluminum ingots is comprised of a body with a top and a bottom flanges. The body of the mould is made in form of a moulding frame and configured to attach thereto at least one water supply unit. At least one pneumatic unit is mounted on the first flange, the unit containing at least one pneumatic cylinder with at least one activation time delay valve providing for an interval of time delay. Additionally, the mould is comprised of the following systems: mould and ingot cooling control system, ingot lubrication control system including supply and hold of lubricant, system for mould positioning on the moulding table in relation to the base plate.
EFFECT: invention allows improving service life of the mould, reducing preparation time for moulding and increasing production capacity of the mould.
