FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to semi-active suppression of pressure oscillations in hydraulic system of cold- or hot-rolling mill or strip processing unit for iron, steel or aluminium materials. Proposed process comprises detection of pressure signal by pressure transducer vi pressure measurement in hydraulic system. Variable pressure signal component is defined. At least one time-variable control effect is defined in real time with the help of controller with due allowance for variable component. Said control effect is fed to at least one actuator, the latter varying intrinsic frequency of oscillation killer connected with hydraulic system.
EFFECT: decreased pressure oscillation amplitude.
