METHOD OF TIGHTNESS CONTROL Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01M3/02

Abstract RU 2527659 C1

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: before tests they determine reaction of a leak detector (3) to a background content of a reference substance in a testing chamber (1) with a controlled item (2). Then the previously weighed permeable body (6) with the reference substance is placed into the testing chamber (1) with the controlled item (2) and maintained during the time of accumulation. Reaction of the flow detector (3) at the accumulated reference substance is determined. The permeable body (6) is withdrawn from the testing chamber (1) and again weighed. The testing chamber (1) is cleaned to the initial background content of the reference substance. The cavity of the item (2) is filled with the reference substance to the required pressure and maintained during the same time of accumulation. Reaction of the flow detector (3) is determined at the reference substance accumulated in the testing chamber (1). Using the produced data, they calculate the value of item (2) non-tightness.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of results of tightness control due to elimination of impact at result of testing of adsorption of reference substance molecules on surfaces of an item and a testing chamber.
