FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to development of antiperspirant salts. Described is a method of obtaining a composition using a combination of a basic organic buffer with a source of alkali-earth metal ions, in molar ratio of 1:1 to 18:1. Antiperspirant composition contains an aluminium chloride compound having a molar ratio of aluminium to chloride from 0.3:1 to 3:1, with ratio of intensity of SEC peak 4 to intensity of SEC-peak 3 equal to at least 2, and a basic organic buffer.
EFFECT: improving quality by producing antiperspirant salts containing smaller aluminium- and/or zirconium-containing particles.
