A toothed converter of rotational movement into rotation and reciprocating one comprises a case in which input and output shafts are set coaxially as well as a central stationary gear wheel, an elliptic gear wheel, a pinion consisting of a cylindrical gear and an elliptic gear connected by a shaft, a carrier set on the input shaft and coupled with the pinion shaft by its other end via the rotating kinematic pair. The central stationary gear wheel is engaged in a geared way with the pinion's cylindrical gear of the same size as it is, and the pinion's elliptic gear is engaged in a geared way with the elliptic gear wheel of the same size as it is The elliptic gear and the elliptic gear wheel are installed on their shafts so that shaft rotation axis passes through the point called a dividing ellipse focus of the elliptic gear wheel or the elliptic gear of the pinion, which is located on the major semiaxis of the dividing ellipse at distance c = a 2 b 2 from the dividing ellipse centre, where a and b stand for the major and minor semiaxes of the dividing ellipse respectively.
