FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises the measurement of stationary potential of reinforcements relative to reference electrode. Constant voltage source is connected via electronic switch between support reinforcements and current electrode. Measurements of current flowing via support reinforcements and support reinforcements potential relative to reference electrode are performed in transient mode. Then, concrete resistance, reinforcements-concrete interface resistance and capacitance are defined from obtained data. Then reinforced concrete support buried part corrosion conditions are defined from obtained magnitudes of concrete resistance, reinforcements-concrete interface resistance and capacitance. Note here that adjacent support is used as said current electrode while measurements are performed at a time at both supports.
EFFECT: possibility to make measurements at both supports at a time.
