FIELD: physics; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to instrumentation and may be used for determination of corrosion condition of reinforced structure underground part without its digging out. Stationary potential of armature is defined in relation to comparison electrode. Then armature is polarised with direct current. Ohm and polarisation components of "armature-soil" potential are determined. Ohm and polarisation resistance of reinforced concrete underground part is calculated during polarisation and after disconnection of DC source in process of armature depolarisation. Assessment of concrete corrosion condition is done based on average value of ohm resistance, and as for armature - based on average value of polarisation resistance.

EFFECT: higher accuracy.
