FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting engineering and can be used for making and use of ultraviolet vacuum valves, in particular for water and air disinfection, sorting and analysis of minerals, in laser engineering, in optoelectronics. The vacuum valve radiating in ultraviolet range of spectrum contains in a vacuum bulb, made from radiation-transparent dielectric material, anode, cathode from carbon material, modulator with a hole for forming of beam of electrons, elements for cathode fastening and centring, contact assembly, shell and conducting substance applied on one of the ends of the cathode. The cathode is designed as the field radiating cathode from nanostructured, and as the elements for fastening and centring the cathode the adjustment disk aligned with the hole of the modulator, where the field radiating cathode from nanostructured carbon is placed, is used, and the field radiating cathode with applied conducting substance on one of its ends is made contacting along the side surface with a barrel, which in turn contacts with the external part of the field radiating cathode and with the internal part of the adjustment disk, while the contact assembly is rigidly connected to the contact entry of the field radiating cathode, and the anode is made with the applied layer of ultraviolet luminophor with the luminescence spectrum in the range of wavelength less than 350 nm, and then with applied aluminium layer.
EFFECT: extension of life expectancy and improvement of serviceability of ultraviolet valves.
