OCCLUDER Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2529390 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. According to the first version, an occluder comprises an expandable fixing assembly for fixing the occluder on a wall defect and configured to switch between the compact and expanded state inside the defect. The occluder comprises a distal axial portion and a proximal axial portion wherein the fixing assembly is rotatably fixed. The fixing assembly has distal fixing arm supports and proximal fixing arm supports rotatably mounted in the distal axial portion and in the proximal axial portion respectively and have free ends connected to each other by connective elements moveable in relation to the fixing arm supports . Each distal fixing arm support is attached to the respective proximal fixing arm support to make a pivot providing a mutual translation of the fixing arm support and connective element. According to the second version, the occluder comprises the expandable fixing assembly for fixing the occluder on the defect wall and at least one closing component for closing the defect and configured to switch between the compact to expanded state inside the defect. The fixing assembly comprises the distal portion which is arranged on the first side of the defect when the occluder is expanded, and the proximal portion which is arranged on the second opposite side of the defect when the occluder is expanded. The closing component is arranged within the area found between the proximal portion and the distal portion. According to the third version, the occluder comprises the expandable fixing assembly for fixing the occluder on the wall defect and configured to switch between the compact to expanded state inside the defect. The occluder comprises the distal axial portion and the proximal axial portion wherein the fixing assembly is rotatably fixed. The fixing assembly has the distal fixing arm supports and the proximal fixing arm supports rotatably mounted in the distal axial portion and in the proximal axial portion respectively; the fixing arm supports are flat and made of U-shaped wired with two branches and a bridge. The fixing arm supports are retained by free ends of the branches in the distal and proximal axial portion, while the bridge forms a free end of the fixing arm supports. According to the fourth version, the occluder comprises the expandable fixing assembly for fixing the occluder on the wall defect and configured to switch between the compact to expanded state inside the defect. The occluder comprises the distal axial portion and the proximal axial portion wherein the fixing assembly is rotatably fixed. The fixing assembly has distal fixing arm supports and proximal fixing arm supports rotatably mounted in the distal axial portion and in the proximal axial portion respectively and have free ends connected to each other by the connective elements moveable in relation to the fixing arm supports and configured as connective strings.

EFFECT: inventions provide closing an interventricular septum.
