SUBSTANCE: method includes depositing carbon-containing compounds on an aluminium oxide surface with a meso- or macroporous structure, drying and pyrolysis in a current of an inert gas to form a layer of pyrolytic carbon on the aluminium oxide surface. The carbon-containing compounds used are citric acid, saccharose and lactose.

EFFECT: simple technique while maintaining the quality of the sorbent.
