SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an image forming apparatus. The technical result is achieved due to that the image forming apparatus includes: a pixel matrix unit having an array of pixels, each having a photoelectric converter and outputting an electrical signal according to the input photon; a sensitive circuit unit having a plurality of sensor circuits, each performing binary selection, whether the input photon has reached the pixel in a given period of time after receiving an electrical signal therefrom; and a decision result IC unit which integrates the decision results obtained from the sensitive circuits, pixel after pixel or for each group of pixels, multiple times to generate displayed data with gradation, wherein the decision result IC unit includes a count circuit, which performs count processing in order to integrate the decision obtained from the sensitive circuits, and a storage device designed to store the count result for each pixel from the count circuit, wherein the plurality of sensitive circuits share the count circuit for integrating the decision results.

EFFECT: avoiding analogue signal processing in order to eliminate noise in the circuit which arises in AD converters and when processing analogue signals without reducing the aperture number of pixels.
