FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: solid-state imaging apparatus includes: a pixel block, having pixels arranged in matrix form, which perform photoelectric conversion; a pixel signal reading unit which includes an analogue-to-digital (AD) conversion unit, which reads pixel signals in form of the modulus of pixels and compares the reference signal, having a sawtooth form, with pixel signals for performing AD conversion; a clamp module which clamps the signal line through a clamp voltage such that, pixel signals are maintained at a level equal to or higher than the set voltage; an adjustment bias circuit which generates clamp voltage in accordance with the applied set value of the clamp voltage and applies clamp voltage to the clamp module; and a module for selecting adjustment bias, which selects the set value of the clamp voltage such that, the clamp voltage is generated in accordance with slope determining information for determining the slope of the reference signal, and which applies the set value of the clamp voltage to the adjustment bias circuit.
EFFECT: providing a solid-state imaging apparatus which enables to widen the range in which blackening can be adjusted.
