FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: beryllium bronze contact springs are heat treated on a mandrel in the form of a steel plate with cut out slots to suit the size of springs. Heat treatment is conducted at 300-400 C followed by cooling. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
