FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valves. Design of a compound valve involves two valve parts having conjugated forms. The first part can form a sealed contact and interact with the second part providing for the movement of material through them. Each valve part comprises a casing, a valve seat and a valve shutoff element set so that to move between the first position when the valve shutoff element is shifted from the valve seat and the valve is open, and the second position when the valve shutoff element interacts with the valve seat and the valve is closed. The design involves the first type of arrangement when the first and second valve parts are engaged with each other and the valve shutoff elements are closed and the second type of arrangement when the two valve parts are disengaged. The first valve part is fitted by a fixation unit movable in respect to the second valve part and intended for selective connection of the parts with each other and their disconnection. The fixation unit comprises a fixing pair with one its element being movable in respect to the other one and is intended for selective connection with the other element to connect and disconnect the above parts. The fixing pair comprises a male element made with the possibility of longitudinal movement. Material transfer method is described.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at the improvement of sealing between valve parts, simplified design.
