FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in cooling of tire in container with coolant to tube brittleness, initiation of pulse electric discharges via conductors arranged nearby tire surface and electric blast of conductors. Cooled tire, prior to blast, is placed into container for grinding similar to tire profile made of metal strips arranged perpendicular to tire surface to make a cellular structure. Barrel-like cylindrical reflector is arranged at tire bead rings with blasting conductors secured thereto and aligned with tire and there inside. This conductor if shaped to ring connected to rod electrodes.
EFFECT: higher the efficiency of the damaging effects of shock wave electric explosion of wire, formes the required fractions' size ruined tires and increase efficiency.
