FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of biotechnology and is aimed at the identification of microorganisms in a tested sample. In one version a method of identifying an unknown microorganism includes obtaining the tested sample, which can contain the unknown microorganism. After that, selective lysis of non-microorganism cells is carried out with obtaining a lysed sample. The lysed sample is applied on a density buffer, which has a homogenous density, in a container. The container is centrifuged to separate the unknown microorganism from other components of the lysed sample. The said microorganism passes through the density buffer and forms sediment on the container bottom. Intrinsic fluorescence of the unknown microorganism is registered in situ in a frontal mode with obtaining an excitation-emission matrix (EEM). The identification of the unknown organism to the level of genus, species and/or strain is performed by comparison of spectroscopic measurements with the obtained spectroscopic measurements of the known microorganisms. In another version a method of identifying the unknown microorganism from hemoculture is claimed.
EFFECT: advantage of inventions consists in the fast identification of microorganisms in one hermetic container, with scanning of sediment of microorganisms in the frontal mode exceeding percentage of the correct microorganism identification.
