FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorption purification of alcohol-containing drinks. The method includes passing of a drink through a cartridge with placed in it granulated zirconium phosphate at a speed of 10-60 dm3/h counted per 1 dm3 of granulated zirconium phosphate until pH 3.5-4.8 is reached. Granulated zirconium phosphate is applied in hydrogen and sodium forms, taken in a ratio respectively (wt.p.): (5-30):(95-70), with the granule size 0.2-2.0 mm and humidity of 20-50 wt %. When the purification process is finished the drink is aged for 7-10 days.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to effectively remove admixtures, especially calcium, which causes turbidity and an undesirable after-taste of the drink.
