FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to mechanical treatment of fibre mass, and more specifically to a method of producing paper or cardboard in which the chopped fibre mass is obtained by chopping the primary fibre mass of cellulose fibres at a consistency of at least 25%, so that the average fibre length of the primary fibre mass is reduced more than by 25% and SR-number of chopped fibre mass is at most 20% greater than that of the main fibre mass, and the chopped fibre mass is used as the starting material in preparation of raw mixture.
EFFECT: improving the quality of paper and cardboard products, reduction of dependence of production on starting materials.
