FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in simulating a fracture defect of a long bone. A Z-cut 2 mm long is made along a bone axis to simulate the fracture. Two defects are formed by performing osteotomy of proximal and distal fragments and dissecting the diaphyseal bone tissue away. The fracture defect is fixed by a bilateral external fixation apparatus.

EFFECT: method provides creating conditions for a high-energy injury, eliminates the number of injuries by simulating the longitudinally extensive transverse fracture with two bone tissue defects, as well as improves the fragment trophism and consolidation processes by the stable external fixation with the bilateral apparatus.
