FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: method of repair of elevator pulleys (24) comprises the steps that follow. Pulley cables (22) are removed and clean said pulley and to apply coating (24) on prepared surface. Said coating can decreased coated pulley surface wear factor by about 80-90% as compared to uncoated pulley. Pulley coating depth can be adjusted to preset pulley diameter. Coated pulley surface wear factor makes less than 2.0×10-10 mm2/N. Note here that preparation of pulley block application in elevator system does not involve pulley removal from elevator system.
EFFECT: longer service life.
