FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water-containing media treatment means and can be used for purification of contaminated water, including radioactive waters. Proposed plant comprises pulse signal source with its output connected with element of affecting the element with water. Element with water is composed of dielectric pipe 5. Pulse signal source is composed by generator 1 of nanosecond non-sinusoidal electromagnetic pulses over 1 MW in energy and at least 1 ns in duration. Said element 2 of affecting the element with water is composed of two metal coaxial cylinders 3, 4. Dielectric pipe 5 with water represents a spiral wound on inner metal cylinder 3. Every one of the cylinders 3, 4 is connected with one of outputs of generator 1.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
