FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to personal procedures, particularly to manicure and pedicure, and can be applied in professional and individual activities. The purpose of invention is to obtain an optimal procedure of nail form correction with possible control of correct, healthy and aesthetic direction of nail growth along with ingrown nail treatment without special brackets. Manicure and pedicure method using scissors and other special tools involves removal of pathological skin areas with plantar callosities, calluses and keratoses, with preliminary assessment of pathology limits and volume, by disposable surgical scalpel starting from the border between healthy and deformed skin sections and moving gradually towards the centre of deformed sections thus removing plantar callosities, calluses and keratosis completely at all deformed sections. Nail form is corrected and oriented in correct and aesthetic direction by using a file with maximum thickness of 1 mm, starting treatment parallel to a nail plate and separating the plate from lateral line, and treating open end afterwards. Angle between them is filed by a file moving underneath and forming the nail correctly. Ingrown nails are corrected by lateral toe line treatment starting with filing with movements perpendicular to the lateral line from inner surface towards outer edge without touching the nail plate, with file grain size depending on the keratosis degree of lateral line (the harder keratosis the lower granularity) and decreasing along treatment progress to higher granularity. The file is oriented parallel to the nail plate, then the open end is treated by filing off a corner between the open end and lateral edge. Further the nail plate is treated with a file of maximum 1 mm thickness, where the file is oriented perpendicular to the nail plate and separates the plate from lateral line. Afterwards the open end is filed by file from underneath to shape it.
EFFECT: optimal procedure of nail form correction with possible control of correct, healthy and aesthetic direction of nail growth along with ingrown nail treatment without special brackets.
