FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes an approval method of a sensor assembly of a meter. The method involves a receiving stage of one or more calibration values of the sensor. In addition, the method involves a stage of comparison of the received calibration values of the sensor to one or more known calibration values of the sensor. Then, the method can be applied for approval of the sensor assembly if one or more received calibration values of the sensor are within the value of the specified allowable deviation of one or more known calibration values of the sensor.

EFFECT: possibility of accurate and reliable check of admissibility of a sensor using the information contained in the sensor itself or in a network of sensors.
