FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method and device for determination and control of static pressure of fluid with the help of a vibration meter of a fluid flow rate detection system. A flow metering system (300) for fluid includes fluid, flowing through a pipeline (301), the first pressure sensor (303) located in the pipeline (301), and a vibration meter (5). The vibration meter (5) includes a sensor assembly (10) connected by fluid to the first pressure sensor (303). The method includes stages of fluid pressure measurement in the pipeline (301), using the first pressure detector (303) and measuring one or several characteristics of fluid flow, using a vibration meter (5). The method additionally includes a stage of determination of static fluid pressure on the basis of fluid pressure within the limits of the sensor assembly (10) and one or several characteristics of the flow. The method additionally includes a stage of determination of whether the fluid contains at least some gas quantity on the basis of static fluid pressure.

EFFECT: increased validity of control and accuracy of pressure determination.
