FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to solid-state laser gyroscopes in which parameters of opposite laser beams are corrected. The disclosed solid-state laser gyroscope comprises a luminous intensity stabilising device which enables to maintain equilibrium of two contradirectional modes, having a means of calculating a rotation measurement, a resonator, a means of measuring control commands, a means of storing models of change in frequency shift, caused by the luminous intensity stabilising device as a function, as a function of the control command, a means of calculating frequency shift caused by the luminous intensity stabilising device based on the value of the control command and the model, a means of calculating shift during rotation measurement, caused by the frequency shift, and a means of compensating for shift during rotation measurement.
EFFECT: disclosed laser gyroscope enables to eliminate shift in the direction of laser beams associated with birefringence in an optical resonator.
